There’s just nothing to do!
Except of course relax, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, enjoy sumptuous meals, be totally pampered and explore the property. Doing this is all that much better with the one you love at Spicers Peak Lodge.
Spicers Peak Lodge is located on top of a mountain on Queensland’s Scenic Rim not much further than Cunningham’s Gap. Once you leave the Cunningham Highway, you’re greeted by a dirt road that takes you up the mountain. Best to leave the Ferrari at home, ground clearance could be an issue. The road is fine for normal vehicles in fine weather, keep an eye out for the kangaroos on the property, especially at dusk.
If your body clock wakes you early, you’ll find early mornings at Spicers Peak Lodge can be a foggy, misty affair, it soon blows off to blue skies. Sunsets are magical, especially while enjoying a glass of wine and something that chef Doug and his team have prepared. Evenings cna be cool, no problem snuggled up near a fire. Hot summer nights in Brisbane are a world away at Spicers Peak Lodge, it’s much, much cooler.
Dining at Spicers Peak Lodge is an experience. Chef Doug Innes-Will’s al-a-carte lunch and degustation dinner menus feature the best local produce and change daily.
As a food and lifestyle photographer, I photography experiences. The images you see here are some in the collection from photo shoots I have done at Spicers Peak Lodge. If some of the images seem familiar, you’ve probably seen them on the Spicers Retreats website and in the various Spicers Retreats marketing material. My clients have their own image collection they can use for any purpose at a moments notice.
Do you need to take a short break and unwind and be pampered? Head out to the scenic rim, Spicers Peak Lodge ticks all the boxes.
